This is the gist of the following legal jargon policy document (please refer to the policy .pdf for more specific information):

 

I collect email addresses to maintain communication with readers who are interested in my novels, stories, and blog posts, for the purpose of letting them know when I've published anything new. 

 

That email address list is stored at Converkit.com, whom I use as an email service to deliver my marketing emails.

 

I do not use your details for sending spam or any unrelated content, and will never give or sell your personal details to another entity for any reason.

 

Should anyone who has previously given me permission to send communications to their email address change their mind about that, they can unsubscribe easily by clicking the link at the bottom of my emails, or by leaving a note on the contact form of this website, or by sending an email to the address at the bottom of this page.

 

I consider your email address and the permission it represents to be like gold - very valuable - and I do not in any way want to compromise that trust. Please unsubscribe immediately if you are at all unhappy about being on my list. Thank you!
